I’m posting here the resources I’m using for my Greek 2 class this winter. If you are learning Greek or need to refresh, you may not have seen some of these resources and they can all be quite helpful.

The following resources are required.

Bruce Metzger, Lexical Aids for Students of New Testament Greek

Daniel Wallace, Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics: An Exegetical Syntax of the New Testament

D. A. Carson, Exegetical Fallacies

The following resources are recommended.

I recommend one of the following two Reader’s Greek New Testaments. They footnote all the words that occur 50x or less to give you the lexical form and definition (I think it’s 50x – check the description of the book to make sure).

A Reader’s Greek New Testament: 2nd Edition
OR
The UBS Greek New Testament: A Reader’s Edition (Greek and English Edition)

You will use Fee’s work third semester, so you might as well buy it now:
Gordon Fee, New Testament Exegesis: A Handbook for Students and Pastors (3rd Edition)

Mounce’s work on morphology gives you all the paradigms for everything in NT Greek. If you really want it around for help with paradigms and parsing and such, it’s an excellent resource.
William Mounce, The Morphology of Biblical Greek
