This list was pre-existing on my hard drive, but I added a few good reasons after reading Tony Merida’s The Christ-Centered Expositor. We featured it as our Book of the Week and give you a brief overview of how useful it is as a preaching guide.

Last week we featured The Message of the Twelve as our Book of the Week and later interviewed the authors, who gave some substantial and helpful questions to some tough questions.

We reviewed Paul and His Recent Interpreters by N. T. Wright, a book every Pauline student should own.

We also reviewed Brill’s Companion to Ancient Greek Scholarship. If you’re a NT backgrounds person or you’re into Greek language/linguistics, this is a superb 1,500 page companion to consult (even though you can’t afford it…).
