Aorist Active Subjunctive Answers

(Eph. 2:10)

Translation: For we are his creation, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, in order that we might walk in them.

Parsing: περιπατήσωμεν – Aorist Active Subjunctive 1st Plural, περιπατέω. Notice the attraction of οἷς. It should be the accusative ἅ, but it is attractive to the dative case of its antecedent ἔργοις. Attraction of the relative is somewhat frequent in Ephesians.

Translation: But by speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him, who is the head, Christ.

Parsing: αὐξήσωμεν – Aorist Active Subjunctive 1st Plural, αὐξάνω
