Translation: And Abram stretched out his hand to take the sword in order to slay his son

Parsing: λαβεῖν – Aorist Active Infinitive, λαμβάνω

σφάξαι – Aorist Active Infinitive, σφάζω

2) Διὸ μηκέτι στέγοντες εὐδοκήσαμεν καταλειφθῆναι ἐν Ἀθήναις μόνοι (1 Thess 3:1)

Translation: Therefore, because we could endure no longer, we thought it good to be left in Athens alone.

Parsing: καταλειφθῆναι – Aorist Passive Infinitive, καταλείπω
