1) καὶ ἔθετο αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς ἐν τῷ στερεώματι τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὥστε φαίνειν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ ἄρχειν τῆς ἡμέρας καὶ τῆς νυκτὸς καὶ διαχωρίζειν ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ φωτὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ σκότους καὶ εἶδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν (Gen 1:17-18)

Translation: And God set them in the firmament of heaven with the result that they might shine on the earth and rule the day and the night and to divide between the light and between the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Parsing – φαίνειν: Present Active Infinitive, φαίνω

ἄρχειν: Present Active Infinitive, ἄρχω

διαχωρίζειν: Present Active Infinitive, διαχωρίζω

2) ὥστε εἴ σοι δοκεῖ βασανίζειν μὴ μιαροφαγοῦντα βασάνιζε (4 Macc 11:16)

Translation: So that, if you think to torture [me] because I am not eating defiled foods, torture!

βασανίζειν: Present Active Infinitive, βασανίζω
