Eerdmans is giving away James Dunn’s three volume series Christianity in the making. This series will of course have debatable details throughout, but it’s a monument to Dunn’s scholarship and comprehensive coverage of primary and secondary sources. We’ll be featuring his third volume in a couple months as one of our books of the week.
P&R is also giving away three Cornelius van Til volumes. Van Til is the patron saint of all things Westminster (their building with their classrooms is named after him) as well as “presuppositional apologetics.” While I can’t commend his works as the most exciting thing you’ve ever read, I can commend them as being both influential and helpful for insomniacs.
